Mighty Plug is a handy silent-play device for both guitarists and bassists, featuring various effects, modeling amplifiers, and Impulse Response (IR) cabinet models. With built-in acoustic guitar IR models and acoustic amps, you can play a regular electric guitar to simulate acoustic guitar. The embedded drum patterns let you play along with your favorite music styles. To remotely control Mighty Plug with a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth, install the MightyAmp app.

WHITE-BOX Amp Modeling Algorithm

The firmware V2 upgrades AMP MODELING with the TSAC-HD WHITE-BOX algorithm. The white-box algorithm offers real negative-feedback, increment-by-increment. NUX TSAC-HD replicates the playability most guitarists prefer in a real tube amplifier.

EFX

Firmware V2 upgrades specific Pre-EFX with the TSAC-HD WHITE-BOX algorithm: Touch Wah, U-Vibe, Tremolo, PH 100, ST Singer, T Screamer, Katana, 3 Band EQ, Muff Fuzz, Crunch Box, Red Dirt, Morning Drive, Dist One, Rose Comp.

Gate

Simple and useful. For silent practice, the Gate solves unpredictable, annoying noise and RF interference.

Acoustic Guitar IRs: G HBird EG Mag, G J15 EG Mag, M D45 EG Mag, G J200 EG Mag, G J45 EG Mag, T 314 EG Mag, M HD28 EG Mag. Mighty Plug offers several acoustic IRs for electric guitar with magnetic pickups to do acoustic guitar simulation. We recommend using a neck pickup (preferably single-coil) to run acoustic IRs. Note: Mighty Plug runs 512 samples IR resolution.

Bluetooth Mode

Choose the Bluetooth AUDIO mode to play along with your favorite music, or APP mode to control effects, customize and store presets. You can also play back music in APP mode.

MightyAmp Mobile App

Control the amplifier with the MightyAmp mobile app. Loads of pre-amp models, guitar cabinet IRs, and effects are available with the free app, and you can save all your changes to a channel for further use.

Record Your Ideas

Record your instrument without an audio interface. Mighty Plug has a built-in audio streaming function, so you can connect it directly to your computer with a Micro B USB cable to play and record. Use the headphone output for monitoring; you will hear both your guitar and the audio from your computer. (For Windows 10 and Mac; for Windows 8.1 or lower, install the NUX ASIO Driver.)

Perfect For All Styles

Mighty Plug works with active/passive electric guitar and bass, and acoustic-electric guitars with piezo or magnetic pickups. The compact, light-weight design lets you play comfortably on any guitar and bass body type, including acoustic guitars and ukuleles.

Long Battery Life and ECO Mode

When you turn on Mighty Plug, it runs in ECO mode by default. If no headphones are connected for 2 minutes, or there is no signal (from guitar, Bluetooth, or USB) for 6 minutes, Mighty Plug turns off.
