A delay pedal repeats what you play: a quick slapback for rockabilly and country, a few soft repeats to thicken a lead, or long, swelling echoes for ambient parts. Analog delays give warm, darkening repeats, tape-style delays add wobble and grit, and digital delays stay clean and often add tap tempo and presets.

We carry delays from Boss, Electro-Harmonix, Walrus Audio, Catalinbread, MXR, Keeley, Death By Audio, Tone City and more, new and used. Shop used delay pedals or see reverb.

Everything ships from our shop in Leominster, Massachusetts, most orders the same or next business day. Shipping is free on orders of $29 or more, and you have 30 days to return.

Analog or digital delay? Analog repeats are warmer and fade out darker; digital repeats are clearer and can run much longer. Neither is better; it depends on the part.

Where does delay go on my board? Near the end, after drive and modulation and before reverb. If your amp has an effects loop, delay often sounds cleanest there.
