The Xotic X-Blender pedal works much like the Aux Send/Return on a mixing console, providing you with wet/dry mixing on the fly. By feeding your effects with your guitar's direct signal, X-Blender preserves your tone's integrity. When you use the X-Blender, you'll experience your guitar's tone without the nasty artifacts often created by a series of effects pedals.

X-Blender operates in both Series and Parallel modes. Series mode is a simple effects loop with true bypass and no buffering. Parallel mode introduces a buffer into your signal with the Dry/Wet knob to control the mixture. A 2-band EQ and Volume control tailor your affected signal to taste. A Boost switch provides a +6dB boost. A Phase Invert switch flips your signal's polarity — great for correcting unwanted side effects from vintage-type wah or booster devices.
