Inspired by the legendary tones achieved by running a fuzz into a screaming amp stack, it offers earth-shattering depth, aggression, and smoothness.

Built on the base tones of a famous Wampler pedal (with the characteristics of a stacked, EL34-driven amp), the Velvet Fuzz sounds as good as it feels powerful. With two completely different clipping options (not just the usual silicon or germanium choice) you can achieve classic big fuzz tones that compress massively across the bottom, or tighten them up for a more distortion-like response. Some players say it sounds like a fuzz but feels like a distortion, so you get the best of both worlds.
