The Wampler Fuzztration packs a do-it-all fuzz box into one pedal. It is brash, raspy, doomy, in-your-face fuzz from top to bottom, but the three-band EQ gives full sculpting capability to dial in whatever tone you want without needing vintage mojo. The voicing switch takes it from a classic, tight response to a dark, sludgy Open setting with depth like piping-hot magma bubbling below the surface. Want classic sounds? Done. Raunchy doom metal or sludge rock? It does that too. An onboard octave adds another dimension to the fuzz.
Controls:
- Volume controls overall output.
- Bass shapes the low-end, from searing tones to full-on doom.
- Mids dials in cutting scoop or band-friendly presence.
- Treble sets brightness, from a wall of wool to raspy spit.
- Voicing switch selects Tight (modern) or Open (sludgy) tones.
