The Keeley Dark Side is a workstation-class analog multi-effects pedal offering Fuzz, Delay, and Modulation in a single handbuilt enclosure. The individual elements combine to create sounds and textures that define an entire sonic palette in one pedal.
Fuzz: Big fuzz-style distortion based on a 1977 op-amp circuit. Transparent yet articulate, it lets your guitar sing with sustain while retaining the character of single-coil and humbucker pickups alike.
Delay: 12 syncopated multi-head tape delay patterns with the warmth and feel of vintage spinning-drum machines. Supports expression pedal control for feedback oscillation. Subtle modulation in the delay keeps it extremely musical.
Modulation: Four modes — Flanger (Electric Lady-style), Rotary Speaker Cabinet (Les-Rotary), U-Vibe (opto-coupler based), and Phaser. Blend between adjacent modes for unique hybrid tones.
Additional Features:
- Expression pedal port (TRS) controls delay repeats and modulation parameters
- Effect-order switch lets you toggle Fuzz-first or Delay/Mod-first signal routing
- Handbuilt in the USA with premium components and a 24-bit DSP engine for delay/mod
