Reacting exactly like a great tube amp, the AC Booster V2 offers a wide range of overdrive with touch sensitivity just like the original AC Booster.
You can set it up to get a crunchy warm overdriven tone and with just a little rolling off of the guitar's volume, it will give you a great clean sound.
The AC Booster V2 accepts 9-18V DC, meaning you can use a voltage doubler with your existing 9V power supply to increase headroom and top end brightness.
A 4 pole dip switch on the side of the pedal offers more "tone" shaping at your fingertips:
Switch 1 - Compression: Activate 6dB compression
Switch 2 - Mode: Classic - original AC booster, or Modern - more gain and articulation
Switch 3 - Lo Mid Boost:Â +6dB boost @ 500hz
Switch 4 - Hi Mid Boost: +6dB boost @ 2khz
