The Electro-Harmonix 12AT7 is a twin-triode preamp tube commonly used in phase inverter and reverb driver circuits. It uses a large-plate design and is noted for solid dissipation and consistent performance in both guitar amplifier and hi-fi applications. The 12AT7 is equivalent to the European ECC81 and can be used in any circuit calling for that tube type. It is sold as a single tube.
