The BOSS Katana-25 packs real Katana tone into a compact 25-watt combo with a custom 8" speaker. Six amp characters with variations run from sparkling clean to high gain, plus one voiced for acoustic-electric guitars. Over 60 BOSS effects are on board, with up to five running at once, tap tempo for delays and a built-in tuner.
The Power Control switch drops the output from 25 watts to 0.5 watt, so you get a pushed-amp feel at bedroom volume. Bluetooth audio streaming and the BOSS Tone Studio app (including its Session feature for playing along with YouTube) take care of deeper editing, and 30 memories hold 20 presets plus 10 of your own sounds. Record straight to a computer over USB-C, practice silently through the Phones/Rec Out, and add an optional footswitch or expression pedal for hands-free control.
