NUX Cerberus Integrated Effects & Controller. Cerberus is a multi-function effect pedal which can be used stand-alone or with the 4-cable method, packed with features including inside routing, IR loader, analog overdrive & distortion, and digital effects.

Use Cerberus as a stand-alone device to prepare your setup and control a stomp-box chain, and/or save any combination (including routing) as a preset and recall it with a single click. Add your essential gear into the chain using the 4-cable method, no matter which equipment you use. Cerberus also offers MIDI control to organize your own effect pedals and improve your effects control at the same time.

It combines 2 selected analog Drive / Distortion pedals, modulation effects, and delay & reverb effects, drawn from all-time classics and newly popular gear.

Analog Effects

• Overdrive (Blues Breaker): a transparent overdrive that takes your guitar tone to the next level without adding mid-frequencies or unwanted character.
• Distortion (Brown Anger): high-gain distortion with a classic British flavor, rich bass, thick mids, and balanced treble, with that classic JCM touch.

The Drive section uses analog circuitry with digital control parameters and remains analog (AD/DA conversion starts from the MOD FX section).

Modulation Effects

• Tremolo: authentic vintage tremolo with wide parameters for precise tailoring.
• Phaser: warm, organic phaser with rich high-end harmonics.
• U-Vibe: a massive vintage-style swirl.
• Chorus: CE (analog), SC (digital) and ST (modern) chorus voicings.

Delay

• 60's Delay (Tape Delay) 55ms - 550ms: aged, over-saturated tape-style repeats.
• 70's Delay (BBD) 40ms - 400ms: warm analog-style repeats.
• 80's Delay (Digital Delay) 80ms - 800ms: crystal-clear digital repeats.
• Tap Tempo: range 125ms - 1500ms for all delay types.

Reverb: Plate, Hall and Spring.

Speaker Cabinet Simulation & IR Loader. Cerberus has stereo outputs, one dedicated output with speaker simulation for direct connection to a mixer or audio interface. The cabinet simulation can be toggled with the Speaker Cab Sim button, and the cab-simulated headphone output can run any 3rd-party IR files.

4-Cable Method Connection. Connect your favorite gear by placing it between the analog and drive sections, using any combination of amps or pedals you desire.

More Features. An integrated loop switcher, IR loader, kill-dry function, 0 to 20dB volume boost, and an accurate tuner in a simple-to-use floor unit. An additional foot control switch can be assigned to Reverb, Mod FX, Drive Section Bypass or Clean Boost (0dB - 20dB), and you can connect an expression pedal for volume control before the digital section.

MIDI Implementation / Global Settings. Cerberus provides full MIDI implementation for use with any MIDI-supported gear.
