The Tone City Fuxx Fuzz is a mini pedal suitable for a wide range of styles thanks to its versatile controls and mode switch, which can turn it from tame to insane in an instant. It fits the vintage mould, recreating many of the famous fuzz tones heard on classic albums.
Gain and volume controls set the amount of fuzz and total output, while the tone knob shapes brightness and presence. The Gain/Crazy switch is where things get interesting: Gain mode delivers a smooth, mid-scooped muff-style fuzz great for 90s alternative and shoegaze, while Crazy mode captures the spitting 60s fuzz-octave sound and some of the trickiest Hendrix tones. True bypass keeps your signal clean in a pedalboard-friendly micro format.
Note: this pedal does not run on a 9V battery and requires a 9V DC center-negative power supply (not included).
