The Tone City Kaffir Lime is an overdrive/boost pedal. Its mid-boosted character works amazingly well when running into an already driven amp, adding extra saturation and sustain. It's equally as brilliant with a clean amp, delivering a bluesy crunch that works perfectly for solos and chords.
Like all Tone City pedals, the Kaffir Lime Overdrive is a small micro pedal that retains all of the features and functionality of its full-sized counterparts.
Not only do you get your standard gain and volume controls, allowing you to manipulate the amount of dirt and volume, but also a 2 band EQ with bass and treble controls. This added flexibility lets you setup the pedal for almost any amplifier, meaning that you can crank the bass control if you want a smooth overdrive sound through a thin-sounding amplifier, for example.
This pedal is only powered by DC 9V power supply, such as TONE CITY Pedal Substation and TPS SERIES all-independent pedal power supply (not included).
