If you want to keep your original tone intact with a bit of extra gain, the Blues Man will add smooth overdrive to your sound without colouring it, so the character of your guitar and amp will shine through as clear as ever. Meanwhile, the overdrive timbre of Blues Man is quite sensitive and full of dynamics, flowing out very smoothly and naturally. As an articulate low-gain drive pedal, Blues Man adds some extra thickness to a rhythm sound, and it keeps working in most effect chains thanks to its transparent timbre.
