The DR Strings Hi-Beam MR5-45 is a medium gauge (.045-.065-.085-.105-.125) five-string electric bass string set. Hi-Beams use stainless steel wrap wire wound over a round core, which DR says delivers a flexible feel, bright tone, and long playing life. The added low-B string keeps the same round-core construction for balanced tension and sustain across all five strings. The sets are handmade in the USA.
