The Catalinbread SFT is an Ampeg® inspired foundation overdrive that bridges the "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out" (Stones) and the Desert Sound (Stoner) eras. The SFT is an overdrive pedal from our Foundation series that captures the essence of two distinct eras in rock history. Transitioning from the jangly Ampeg®-driven '69 sound epitomized by Keith Richards to the gritty desert rock tone of the late '90s and mid-2000s, the SFT offers versatility through a Stones/Stoner button and controls for Treble, Bass, Volume, and Gain. It delivers a rootsy, mildly overdriven tone reminiscent of vintage tube amps at low gain settings, while activating the Stones/Stoner button unleashes raw power for QOTSA-style dirt. By manipulating onboard guitar controls, players can further explore the pedal's sonic range.

You can power your SFT with any quality power supply designed for use with effects pedals. The output should be a negative tip DC from 9 to 18 volts. If you want more volume, headroom, and percussive attack, try running an 18-volt power supply.
