The RAH captures the broad palette of tones and giant dynamic range Jimmy Page achieved at Led Zeppelin's legendary January 1970 Royal Albert Hall performance, his Les Paul running custom Hiwatt heads into Marshall cabinets, ranging from a whisper to a roar.
Catalinbread's chief circuit designer Howard Gee set out to capture the essence and experience of that rig in a pedal. Having proven his ability to recreate the feel of famous amplifiers, Howard developed what is now the RAH overdrive.
